Dabhosa Falls will make your heart leap with happinss! This waterfall is a testimony of a weekend done right. This waterfall is situated in the village of Dabhosa in Palghar district, Maharashtra, India which is a 3 hour drive from Mumbai. Thiswatefall is located over the Lendi River and cascades down from a height of 300 feet. Dabhosa Waterfalls is a beautifull waterfall especially, during monsoon season. It is also n adventurous spot for kayaking, trekking, valley crossing and fishing.
How to get there: if you are in Mumbai take a bus to Palghar and then take an auto to the falls.
Recommended: A plate of hot Bhajjis or a vada pav and chai to go with it. Isnt’t this a deadly combination in itself??
Quick Travel tips for such offbeat trips:
• Wear comfortable clothes.
• Carry ample water and enough food.
• Travel in a slightly bigger group (4-5) if going for longer trails.
• Follow the map, but trust your instinct.
• As always, carry only memories. Leave only footprints. A nature is not a walk in the park. The best way to enjoy it is with all your senses. See the beauty around, listen to the sound, feel the fresh air.
• Above all, have an open mind.
All it takes to make an overcrowded and often-visited place is a different perspective.
