Hello Fellas …
I’m back with yet another blog on my tour to Thailand.
This time I’ll be sharing my complete experience there and ideas on how you could save an extra buck on the trip. This will include
• My day to day trip information
• Must visit places
• Online booking tips to grab some great discounts
Day 1: BANGKOK
After reaching Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) the very first thing I did was getting my Visa On Arrival (procedure mentioned in my previous blog). After that I bought a sim card (Name of the service provider: AIS)
After that I directly took a taxi to my friend’s place. Don’t worry about the rates and the cheating part because people there are absolutely amazing and taxis there run on meter so no chance of getting tricked. Besides, you could always use Google Maps.
As soon as I reached at my friend’s place, I booked my tickets to the Ocean World for the next day.
Day 2: OCEAN WORLD, MASALA ART INIDAN RESTURANT
OCEAN WORLD
I spent my whole day at the OCEAN WORLD. It is the largest in South Asia with hundreds of different species of marine animals.
These were the highlights of the Ocean World:
Surely this was super fun and I had an amazing experience.
Location and how to get there: Ocean World is located in Siam Paragon Shopping Center. The easiest way to get there is by a BTS Sky Train or a taxi.
Tip: Try to book your tickets ONLINE (1 day prior) on klool.com. They offer great discounts.
MASALA ART RESTAURANT
My bestie planned a dinner at this beautiful place called MASALA ART. It had a perfect and authentic decor and they serve the finest indian cuisines in the whole of Bangkok. must try
Location: 2nd Floor, Eight Thonglor Building, Thonglor Soi – 8, Sukhumvit – 55, Klongton Nua, Wattana, Bangkok 10110
Day 3, 4, 5: PHUKET
I’ll be posting an entire blog on my stay in Phuket especially because there are so many things to see and so much to experience there. Stay tuned for it.
Day 6: INDRA MARKET, PALLADIUM MALL, ASIATIQUE – THE RIVERFRONT
We all know that Bangkok is known for window shopping at much cheaper prices and who wouldn’t want clothes, cosmetics and accessories at a cheaper price.
This was the reason I kept an entire day for shopping.
PALLADIUM MALL
This mall is all about clothes, clothes and clothes !
A perfect destination to buy your trendy clothes, plus they are super cheap.
You will atleast need 2-3 hours in palladium mall.
INDRA MARKET
This market contains nearly 300 wholesale and retail shops. You will find all kinds of things like clothes, accessories, bags, cosmetics, watches, phone accessories, footwares and what not.
No trip to Thailand is complete, absent a visit to INDRA MARKET.
ASIATIQUE – THE RIVERFRONT
Bangkok’s incredible night markets are one of the most memorable experiences one could have of Thailand’s spectacular capital city and Asiatique – The Riverfront is particularly unique.
Every market in Bangkok has its own individuality and vibrant Asiatique is bursting with sights and sounds that would enliven the senses.
This is one of the most popular night markets in the city.
Day 7: SAFARI WORLD, SKY BAR
SAFARI WORLD
Safari World in Bangkok is like a fun day out for the entire family. It is undoubtedly a must visit place.
This huge park is divided into two areas, a drive through the safari park and a marine park which also offers a number of shows like:
• Feeding show
• Cowboy Stunt Show
• Dolphin Show
• Bird Show
• Orang-Utan Boxing Show
And other attractions are
• Watch the tiger feeding
• Mini World bird aviary
• River Safari Ride
• Giraffe Feeding
Entry Pass: Safari World & Marine Park can cost you 1500 Thai Baht
Tip: I booked my entry tickets through klook.com for 1000 Thai Baht which included Safari World + Marine Park + Buffet Lunch (Indian).
SKY BAR
This splendid rooftop bar is situated on the 63rd floor and is marked as the highest rooftop (open air) bar in the world. With amazing ambience it also serves the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers. No wonder, the rooftop bar is accepted as the coolest bar in Bangkok.
Location: The Dome at Lebua, 1055, Silom Road, Bangkok 10500
Now go visit Thailand soon and let me know about your experiences as well.
